Georgia’s way of moving on up; land a solid denim campaign (Hudson), next a Vogue cover (UK), a cosmetic contract (Rimmel), then straight to a major house super model status (Versace), this girl knows how to get to the top. No Victoria’s Secret skivvies for this one.

do you see the resemblance to Miss Bardot?

banner

Roller Gen powers all of your mobile electronics. It’s a high powered generator that you mount on your bike. Through your pedaling you produce a great amount of electricity . In fact, more than enough energy to power all of your tech gear- i phone, i pod, GPS system, using your own human power! Awesome!

Talking Fashion

The latest issue of Dazed&Confused showcased a shoot in honor of the Where the Wild Things Are movie and Opening Ceremony Collection. It was an amazing shoot. This issue also covered a K Karl Lagerfeld shoot, an experiment in tie dyed hair, an interview with snoop, and some other wild and crazy happenings. It was a fun issue and stuck to all things wild at heart..

Please Get a Canteen

I hate plastic bottles. I cringe when I see someone drinking out of one. Once people are through with them , unless they are lucky enough to get recycled, they end up here…

The Pacific Garbage Patch, an area of accumulated plastics in the middle of the ocean that is twice the size of the united states.

Tell Me A Story

Insanely detailed embroideries, beaded motifs and a kaleidoscopic mix of colors describe Ankur Gupta’s designs. This collection is titled “Ambiguous Desires of a Child” and was inspired by three themes – children, dreams and interpretations. The designer tried to tell stories that incorporate the surreal side of Hinduism into his sense of humor/irony. The result was one beautiful collection indeed.

The Dream Catcher

Federico Fellini- Italian Film Director known to blur the lines between dreams and reality..

“I discovered that what’s really important for a creator isn’t what we vaguely define as inspiration or even what it is we want to say, recall, regret, or rebel against. No, what’s important is the way we say it. Art is all about craftsmanship. Others can interpret craftsmanship as style if they wish. Style is what unites memory or recollection, ideology, sentiment, nostalgia, presentiment, to the way we express all that. It’s not what we say but how we say it that matters.”-Fellini

“A created thing is never invented and it is never true: it is always and ever itself.”-Fellini

“There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the passion of life.”-Fellini

“All art is autobiographical; the pearl is the oyster’s autobiography”-Fellini

“You exist only in what you do.”-Fellini
